Volunteering in the Speech Production

Volunteering
Thank you for
your interest in volunteering in the Speech Production Laboratory! Whether you
are helping with an established project or starting a new project of your own,
there are some preliminaries that need to be taken care of before you dive in.
o If you are currently affiliated
with IU, select the first option, “Accessing Indiana University/IU Health CITI
Training” and sign in with your IU credentials.
o Complete the “Social and
Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research” course.
o Complete the “Social/Behavioral
Researchers” course.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure.
o Follow the on-screen
instructions to complete a COI disclosure.
o Complete the “HIPAA
Privacy and Security” course.

(Optional) MRI Level 1 Training.
o If you are interested in
helping with data collection at the IU Imaging Research Facility (in the
Psychology Building), let us know so we can keep you informed about Level 1 MRI
personnel training. This training typically
occurs once or twice each semester and summer, near the beginning of the term.
After you
complete these trainings/disclosures, email a copy of the
digital certificates to the lab.
